This was a logo concept I worked on as a spurt of the moment design. Sometimes I think the best designs are usually the ones that come as an accident or unplanned. That's why I think I love art so much; its like life where everything is unexpected and can create something beautiful out of nothing. 

I basically designed a rose within the original Bulls logo and came out with this. It not only signified Derrick Rose as the franchise player of the team but as a symbol of his return as a fresh, new and healthy player. I also wanted the design to correlate with his #thereturn campaign thats been everywhere and has put back hope not only into the basketball franchise but the city of Chicago itself.
