This project was created to show recognition towards Nieves Fernandez who's known for being "the only Filipino female guerrilla leader" who fought the Japanese Army which dominated the Philippines during World War II. The illustration was made by using mixed media of hand rendered charcoal illustration & digital illustration through the use of Adobe Illustrator.
