Given a verse of Shakespeare's sonnet 51, I was asked to visualise its meaning typographically. The quote says: 'Then can no horse with my desire keep pace.'
The red colour, known as the colour of love, and lines starting from various letters and continuing throughout, stand for the strong desire and endless lust for the beloved one. I used screen printing to create the design work. The artwork was displayed in London's Poetry Society Café's exhibition 'New Types of Shakespeare' in 2016.
