The Stories of our Hawker Centre Project was done in collaboration with NEA Singapore to promote the rich history of hawker centers and would be installed on walls an tables at the Tampines Hub hawker center .
Connections represents the relationships between people. They are what surpass age, culture and race to unite people. Hawker centres are a place where people gather, brought together by a shared love for good, affordable local food. There is a sense of unity and communion here, as old as history of hawker centres itself.
The project aims to tell snippets of culture-rich moments that represent the essence of hawkers centres told through 8 spread comic strips.
