I created the image from original photographs of my grandson Teddy and downtown Santiago, Chile. It was composited in Adobe Photoshop Mix on an iPad. I moved it over to Photoshop on a desktop because I wanted to experience sending the image to my iMac, but I also was unable to export the image correctly from the iPad app. In Photoshop I adjusted the blue of the building to match Teddy's clothing.

I like the way the sunlight on his left side matches the source of the sun in the downtown scene. The physics are sort of preposterous and if you look carefully, you'll see that the clouds repeat on either side of the child's head. Shhh: don't tell anyone!

An option for the assignment was to mock up a document in Adobe Comp. I thought it would be fun to create an imaginary front page for a newspaper - and it let me use my Spanish. I found a newspaper header image to make it look more official.
