The Great Escape is a low-tech, table top game I created for college age students.

The context of the game is based on the project I did on Pioneer Village at Shingle Creek. I adapted the real life tourist location in Osceola County, Florida into a box game experience with an escape room style theme.

I decided to come up with this game idea after having experienced a trip to a immersive escape room adventure in New York City, USA. It was fun adapting the Pioneer Village storyline to this gaming concept that is designed to keep engagement levels high among students--either right in their own dorm rooms or among their family and friends at home.
