Final Project _ Masters Dissertation.
Masters dissertation is about a refurbishment of a space with a family history of 200 years.
The project starts with na investigation about the place and it’s history, by interviewing some persons and visiting the place: to scketch, measure, photograph and above all to understand it.
Then i created a proposal where we have na Rural Hotel and a new building – Wine House Lemos. For a touristic character i developed other functions, located near to the house’s yard: the regional products restaurant, the wine tasting house, a small bar, an exposition space and an auditorium with catering.
By all means “Quinta do Lemos” was an important space in the city of Mangualde.
My work stay’s at the city hall for the people to see, consult and understand the history attached to it.
