The New Discoveries Series

Working with paint as a medium I am reminded and entranced by the infinite potentiality in colour, form and texture. Drawing inspiration from the world surrounding me, I approach my work as a meditation on application techniques, to open a window to the light as it plays on matter and perception. I seek to create an engaging visual environment, one that allows the viewer to experience the harmonies between the natural world and those of the theoretical and intangible.
In the New Discoveries, I am seeking to bring forth a visual language to the stories behind scientific theory and the history of those discoveries. In particular, where theoretical knowledge intersects with instinct. I endeavor to connect with the concepts surrounding the structure of the multiverse and patterns of thought.
