SUZUKI DRZ 400 SM 08

After my previous DRZ engine failure I was keen to get exactly the same bike again
I found one reasonably priced with only 7,500 miles 2008 model in great condition
LED indicator install
Service at 8,500 miles
Oil & Oil filter 
I had some bad luck when removing the nut that holds on the sprocket
Despite using a small spanner the output shaft sheared 
This has happened to other DRZs
The proper way to fix this is Engine rebuild

To save time and money I had a thread tapped inside the shaft
Another service at 10,000 miles
New LED Tail light with integrated indicators
Trimmed the panels for a more streamlined look
Oil and filter change at 11,748 miles
Crush washers replaced to ensure a tight seal. 
Fortunately the screen and magnetic plug were both very clean. 
New front brake pads
New Michelin Pilot Sport rear tyre
New Chain and Sprockets
FCR 39mm pumper carb install with new air filter and 3x3 air box mod
EGR blank (Exhaust Gas Recirculation)
New clutch cable, oil and filter, swim arm pivot greased, exhaust, fairings and fender re secured with the bike now at 13,000 miles
New brake pads and brake fluid
Oil change and filter at 14,000 miles
DRZ E suspension upgrade
New Michelin Pilot front tyre
Serviced the head race bearings
New tail tidy, spark plug, helmet mount removed
Another oil change and filter at 16,000 miles
Link removed to shorten chain
