Another exercise in branding by way of a hard cider start-up brewery called Brown Knows Cider, run by a man named Brown.

Although it was tempting to illustrate the obvious, Brown and I agreed that there were alternative ways to go about illustrating his label and, most importantly, differentiating it from every other hard cider on the shelf.

After doing a little research, I was happy to find a gap in the market for bold, graphic illustrations––an opportunity I was more than happy to attempt filling. Above you can view my process, from initial sketches to the final approved design.
