The inspiration was a print by Alphonse Mucha back from 1898 – the Femme à la marguerite – now rebuild in 3d and with a body painted model. The set was made by Birgit Mörtl and she invited me to shoot this set at her workshop near Vienna. What a cool set and such a great interpretation of this Art Deco painting. Carmen (model) did some great job as well. Make-up, body painting, set design and styling all by Birgit Mörtl!!
