ITB Pals was a mock project that explored the Design Thinking process to solve a problem in our college. Our team decided to explore the International Office and how the international students live and what could be a solution to their problems -if existent. -

From the interview with international and erasmus students we've learned that most of the students feel like they can't approach the irish students and find difficult to engage with the local students - as they're only staying here for a certain time. Another problem that we found was the fact that most of the students don't have the enough information on how to get a bus, how to get a bus card, where is town, where to go, etc.

After brainstorming, our theme concluded that the best solution would be a mentoring program for the international students, this way, they would have a local student guiding them on basic things and presenting the culture, making the transition better for our international students.
