    The Griffin is an illustrated children book, based on the short story "The Griffin and the Minor Canon" by Frank Stockton. This book is an introduction to The Griffin Musical written by Jane McNealy and coming up soon. It will be given to people when they enter the theater to see the show, or sold separately in libraries. The Griffin character is a mythical beast with the head like a gargoyle and the body and tale of a dragon. The Griffin, who is starving, emerges from the Dreadful Wilds after a one hundred year hibernation to terrorize the medieval village of Miffanwy.
