Mud boss was created to be the king of the swamps. Mud boss can create new spots with his hands and they are like mini versions of the boss. Mud boss was kind of easy to create as there wasn’t any complex facial expression to do or anything. The coloring on the other hand was yet again a pain in the butt. It is always hard to decide the best color scheme when different color combinations look so good. So how to decide? I guess the answer lies in the character, what color scheme would tell more about the character. I think the green version is kind of a safe bet and thus would like it to be something else. At the start of the drawing I used violet/purple(ish) colors with yellow spots. Was quite happy with it, but somehow green was better considering the environment where the creature lives. Swamp is green in my world and so the character kind of had to be green rather than violet. This character is also part of the world I am creating.
