A Layout Design Concept Revolving Around Hip Hop Artist Super Duper Kyle With A Faux Magazine Company's Logo Designed By My Self.
The photos of Kyle were borrowed from photographer Andrew Boyle to be the main focus in which all of the type and graphics would be centered around.

I wanted the magazine cover to emulate the 1980s aesthetic that Kyle brands his work with so I did so by use of a stylistic font to accent the sans serif fonts throughout the cover (seen with "featuring" and "@SuperDuperKyle" ) along with making Vybly's color scheme utilize bright colors.
The logo for Vybly had to represent music in some fashion as well as be cohesive with the overall design style of the magazine. With that being said, I decided to go the route of creating a simplistic vector drawing of an old gramophone to give off a retro vibe, paired with the color scheme selected for Vybly conveyed through rainbow rays coming from the gramophone.
