Kin is an online knowledge-based web platform designed to help architecture, design and art students to find the hidden connections and relationships between countless projects and works, including their own. This prototype shows the basic framework upon which Kin works. The homepage showcases popular, newly added and works and also allows the user to explore among Kin's database.

Each project, work or artist has its own profile, where users can contribute by adding information and connect specific pieces of the profile to other projects, works or artists in an easy and straightforward way.

One of the goals of Kin is to allow students, amateurs and enthusiasts to participate in the construction of a shared knowledge in the platform. The most enriching way to do this is for the users to share their own work and have feedback from other users, but also by discovering the connections between their own work with different projects, artists, styles and influences.
