Pasar Gede building was designed by renowned Dutch  architect named Ir. Thomas Karsten. In 1930, the building construction was completed, later called Pasar Gede Hardjanagara. Called the Large Market or Pasar Gede Because It consists of a large roof in this market. Pasar Gede consists of two buildings separated road now known as Sudirman street. Both of the building has two floors.
