In the person's questionnaire I received, four key characteristics stood out: he was inquisitive, reflective, adaptable and clearly a deep thinker. The typeface I created I therefore named “Pensive” to convey the thoughtful curiousity with which he sees the world. It is a family of letters which differ every time they are used in order for the written word to become an ambigram so it can be read exactly the same upside down to communicate his diverse interests and rounded personality.
Reflective and eclectic: two words I would use to describe the person written in the typeface I created. If you turn your monitor upside down, the words will look exactly the same.
