A small renovation/refurbishment project involving uniting the existing kitchen and dining room by way of expansion into the space previously occupied by a courtyard considered 'too tiny to be functional'. A central 'flyover' roof structure was designed in place of the courtyard with high level windows facilitating a light-filled space with views to tree canopies on nearby properties. A new access to the remaining larger courtyard was also incorporated to improve amenity for entertaining.
