Err0r
Glitch Art is a genre of art that uses digital errors to alter an image by editing its fundamental data. My thesis project included a semester of experimenting with several methods of data bending and examining the relationship between beauty and dysfunction. Through this experimentation, I have discovered that breaking the code of an image produces a dynamic texture, color, and pattern. Harnessing the results of several chance operations, I have compiled a body of work that includes still images, video, and audio.
