We were asked by agency Walton Isaacson to help create an advert for the State Fair brand to be displayed at Six Flags TV. With the help of friends, we make this 15 second spot featuring a fuzzy wildebeest and some good spirited chasing. Inspired a lot from old Bugs Bunny cartoons, we spent some time getting the background to a perfect balance of supportive, but not intrusive.
Prøcess
We wanted to communicate a lot in a short amount of time. With bumpers we really only had about 11.5 seconds to animate our characters. So pacing was a bit of an issue. At first we wanted to have long breaks between the running like an old cartoon chase scene. But due to time constraints, we decided the pacing would work just as well with one back and forth leaving room for a panting monster at the end.
