Final Bachelor's Degree Work.

The Cohousing concept comes with the proposal to bring more simplicity to society.

A more peaceful life similar to the countryside, but adapted to the city. A healthier life far from the exaggerated consumerismand. It is a way to combat the alienation and isolation that many people experience today, recreating the neighborhood support and community spirit that used to be in villages and cities of the past.

Plant what you eat, use renewable energy, share spaces and activities on a daily basis: frugal living helps not only the people who practice it, but also nature and future generations. In addition to reducing the ecological footprint, this new lifestyle helps to reduce living costs. And when you eventually want to be alone, there are also the private spaces.

The experience is enriching thanks to the exchange of knowledge between the members. While one cooks, another teaches a new language and another yet takes care of children. Those are solidary exchanges, done without obligation or payment in return. Thus it makes possible not only to survive, but to really live in the city.

"One of the biggest paradoxes of our time is that half the world's population lives in cities and yet they feel lonely and few know their neighbors. Imagine 20 families, each with their own home, but sharing many common spaces and activities. Urban and rural cohousing models make life easier and more fun for adults and children, while preserving privacy. (...) another way of life is possible. ”
