When iDiscover emailed me about this illustrated map project, I said yes without thinking twice because I looovee illustrated map.
iDiscover City Walks creates a socially responsible travel app and map with community curated neighbourhood waks in Asia’s historic cities. Their mission is to keep urban heritage and local culture alive. iDiscover collaborates with some local designers to create map for each city, and I was lucky to be chosen to illustrate these two Jakarta maps, Kota Tua and Glodok area. I had a great time working on this project.
On Feb 4, 2017, iDiscover launched the App & Map in Jakarta in Sunda Kelapa harbour. They collaborated with some local heritage and historic communities in Jakarta for this event.
