The PTF Promotes Polo Training

Lisa M. Nousek is a Super Lawyers top-rated attorney for general litigation for her work as a partner with Armonk, New York, firm Boies, Schiller, and Flexner LLP. In her spare time, Lisa M. Nousek loves riding horses and supports the Polo Training Foundation (PTF).

Founded in 1967, the PTF encourages young people to learn and practice the sport of polo in part by providing funding for programs and training. Polo is a team sport that can be gentle and family-friendly, but also can be dynamic, fast-paced, and competitive at higher levels. By working with the horses and building teamwork between riders, polo can help cultivate confidence, goodwill, and sportsmanship.

The PTF supports clinics for interscholastic and junior players on both indoor and outdoor fields. The PTF can provide instructors for these clinics who teach through hands-on learning, video instruction, and discussion. Periodically, the organization also provides instructor training, inviting the best polo coaches and teachers to come together to share their knowledge and work together to improve their teaching strategies.
