Boudin SF Spring Salad Promotion
Boudin is a San Francisco bakery and casual dining restaurant. It's one of the oldest businesses in San Francisco and is world famous for their sourdough bread made from a unique combination of original 'mother dough' starter from France and San Francisco's climate. Spring is salad season and Boudin sought to create a promotion around three new salad combinations that would be offered in their cafe's and restaurants. The notion of the heart is a simple and common one but it perfectly represented the love Boudin has for it's quality ingredients.
I had originally thought the heart shape would be made from only the lettuce leaves but it evolved for the better to be composed of the beautiful ingredients. Expert food styling and photography really raised the level of the finished product.
