introduction
---------------------
this is a personal project designed around myself. as someone with a physical disability (more specifically becker's muscular dystrophy), i find it difficult to use conventionally designed furniture, as they are often too low and difficult to get up from. the aim of this project was to design work space furniture that is comfortable to use and is easily accessible for me. i also like to keep my desk clean and as empty as possible to allow for ample room for activities, however this sacrifices storage for any loose items needed from time to time.

scenario casting
---------------------------
- conventionally designed furniture used for work, is considerably low and difficult to get up from a seating position.
- its easy for tables to get cluttered which limits usable workspace, hindering working area and space efficiency.
- cable management and limited storage for various items on work table.

the collection consists of a high standing table, and accompanying modular units, consisting of storage, speaker and light modules.
the table stands high to make getting up from sitting much easier. it also has a cable compartment for clean cable management and to elevate electrical power points for easier accessibility. it is accompanied by storage, light or speaker modules. the modules have a “half-cab” design, which allows the user to mix and match units to their liking, by stacking two together.
