Usually artworks starts with an idea or a feeling and so was the case with this one. I had an idea of drawing a toad and making it look cool in some way. I wanted the toad to be a titan in size, extremely huge in other words. I also wanted the toad to be part of earth element and thought of adding a metallic ball inside his stomach. The ball represents gravity and earths metal core. Idea was that the toad could generate these gravity balls out of his stomach thus generating planets. The vase the toad is carrying is thought to have endless supply of water thus giving life to all living creatures. For some reason I always thought this toad to be somewhat evil so don’t know how why this toad would want to give life to anything? Maybe because this character is meant to be part of a bigger universe I am creating so I wanted him to be an enemy rather than a friend at least in the beginning. However that was the thought process behind this artwork. Hope you like the design!
