Once upon a time, there lived a Yeon-o-Lang and Seo-Nyeo in the sea of ​​the East Sea. While Yeon-o picking up seaweed, a rock suddenly appeared and it took him to japan. Seo thought it was strange that her husband was not coming back and she went out to look for him. She then found his shoes and climb up on the rock. The rock took Seo to Japan. When, Japanese people were started and informed Yeon-o, they met again. Then, the lights of the sun and the moon were lost in Sin-la. One servant said,
 
 
 
“The vital force of the sun and the moon were ours, but it just went to Japan.” Sinla sent an envoy (Yeon-o)  to Japan with a silk weaved by Seo and said, “If you hold an ancestral rites with this silk, the light of the sun and the moon may come back.
