Art for Obama 2012 Love Who You Want

Art for Obama 2012
A pop-up art/messaging project
After the Democratic convention, illustrator Gayle Kabaker felt compelled to use her creative energies to support the Obama campaign. She emailed brand guy Mitch Anthony to pitch an idea: ‘Let’s make art-based ads that express why we feel so passionate that Obama win. Let’s invite other artists to contribute their work. Let’s see how far we can spread them using just digital transmission.’

He invited a trusted friend and colleague, designer Laura Radwell, and together the three became a we, agreeing to create a pop-up art and messaging project - a virtual ad campaign.

As a courtesy to the artists who have freely lent their work to this digital awareness campaign (and out of respect for their copyrights, which they all individually retain), please link back to the original post here that contains the artist's name and a link to their site.

Want to get involved? Send us your idea. We are wide open.

In the meantime, we are exploring various ways to produce and distribute actual physical, posters. We think that they are suitable for framing and we’d love to see them hung on walls far and wide. Stand by for developments as we learn.
