about a year ago Paramount Pictures created a contest which was hosted by talenthouse.com.
the contest page states the following:
"To celebrate the theatrical release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, artists from around the world are invited to design an eye-catching sewer access cover inspired by the newest installment of the franchise."
"In order to attempt to save the city and people they love, the Turtles are forced to risk it all and emerge from underground, out into a world that doesn’t always accept them. Through art, we want to explore this concept of coming out of the shadows."

*in this project I won't be showing you the details of my contest submission. instead I'll be showing the details of the complete poster size format of my submission. I felt that in this format the composition was more visually appealing. (design elements that were provided (in project files) to the artists by Paramount will be indicated when they were used). all the steps are essentially the same for both formats except for their final crops. enjoy and let me know what you think.
