Create designs for a new range of vitamin products.
Process
During the summer of 2016, I had the opportunity to work on a live brief for Wilcare Pharma Ltd; a pharmaceuticals company based in Watford. It was my first professional job working with a client to a strong, high standard. I solely worked over several months of the summer to create a new packaging design for a range of vitamin products. All products are now in pharmacies across the UK with my designs on them. It was a fantastic brief to work on and the client was very happy with the final products. I improved many skills including how to deal with a client, working my designs across a variety of formats and working swiftly and effectively to produce the best possible outcomes. Below are a selection of photographs of the finalised packaging that went into production.
Outcome(s)
A total of four vitamin product packagings were designed with a further five reworked designs to fit a variety of different formats.
What I Learnt
I was in constant communication with Wilcare Pharma, with regular meetings and daily emails and phone calls. It was a real life experience for me dealing with a client such a professional level and included offering opinions and choices with certain design possibilities.
