Hygeia Healthcare Group, one of the largest private healthcare Groups in Greece, asked us to design a series of brochures for a range of different health conditions. The concept was based on the insight that images of diseases and sickness are obviously not attractive to the eye, and cause people to feel unease, defeating our objective.
That’s why our approach was focused on unique, “softer” and “cleaner” images mainly inspired by nature, with strong symbolisms to depict each different condition, through simple connotations. Emphasis on the information presented within each brochure was given to content clarity, legibility and intuitively separated information, using clear titles and subtitles, to help the reader classify the information. Another significant design feature were the cover titles as appearing on the brochure stand, which were placed at the bottom of each brochure, to not distract the eye at the hospital, considering the conditions described to be a delicate, personal matter.
