Two situations led me to make this portrait of Nelson Mandela, one of which is inevitably present in our country with the presidential elections in sight, the other, the nearby home of South African World Cup, when I think in both cases I comes to mind the same character, on the one hand because I think Colombia deserves a President like Mandela, someone who thinks more people in their pockets and for whom respect is the main slogan on the other hand, because Mandela also made possible the world looked towards his country and who, after reinventing himself (his country), a possible World Cup in South Africa.
