St Hugo is a premium collection of wines prized for their elegance. We worked hand-in-hand with the architects and cabinetmakers to ensure that reputation extends to the restaurant and cellar door, too.
Luxury materials and sophisticated styling were applied consistently throughout the venue. The leather of the upholstery matches the leather of the menus. The Blackbutt timber of the joinery constitutes the bill trays, wine flight trays and menus as well.
Internal signage and printed designs were kept simple, allowing the subtle tactile characteristics of high quality paper stocks, wood, leather and brass to hold their own.
A lesson in restraint, resulting in an experience as tasteful as the wine itself.
