I spent a few months as an Art Intern for More Magazine (Transcontinental Media). Such a wonderful place to work. The shop is pretty small, but the content and (award winning) design speaks to an aesthetic akin to my own. I have to say, the editor in chief runs a this publication as a well oiled machine with many talented and experienced people; from the Art Director to the Copy Editor and Managing Editor. All great ladies.
I had an opportunity to work on a few spreads. Using the More Style Guide and templates, I was able to create some wonderful spreads. I was able to push the creativity of each spread beyond their template. As an intern, this was extremely satisfying; being able to contribute to an already amazing publication.
