The mission behind the Whitewater Riders is to build positive, skilled, and ethical leaders in our whitewater community. Based on this belief, Whitewater Riders was founded in 2013 by Katrina Van Wijk, teaching technical skills, outdoor education, team dynamics and safety. Katrina has inspired youth from around the world to further their knowledge and the chance to follow in her footsteps taking their paddling skills to the next level.
