SK-8 MAHOGANY
Custom made aggressive inline skate
SK-8 Mahogany is a custom made aggressive inline skate that made to fit one of the artist's pair of shoes. The main body is made completely out of wood. The wheels used are standard 57mm 88a with ABEC-9 bearings.
The back support is adjustable with hex keys and the straps were made out of canvas and are attached by strong velcro.
Process and iterations of making SK-8 Mahogany
steam bending was performed on hand carved form of the artist's leg, followed by bend lamination
after a couple days of setting on the form.
