Adegas Tollodouro vineyards are located in Tomiño, Galicia (Rías Baixas Appelation of Origin. O Rosal Subzone). They have a collection of multivarietal wines, mixing autochthonous galician grapes like Albariño, Loureiro or Treixadura.

We were commisioned to design a new logo for the cellar and dress up two of their references: Pontellón and Tollodouro.

 

 

 

The client wanted an specific style of illustration, based on 19th century engravings and ornaments with a modern touch. We chose different characteristic animals of the vineyards area and combined them with other seashells illustrations, creating a bond between the forest, the river and the sea. This is one of the key features of the Rías Baixas area wines, heavily influenced by their location and climate.
