challenge: I was approached by Celestial Honey, an Okanagan company specializing in hand-crafted, hand-made artisinal honey. The product is gourmet honey, so the branding needed to look high-end, whilst still saying “local and friendly”. There were labels needed for 6 flavours.
solution: The logo I created uses the shape of a honey dipper to create the stripes and shape of a honey bee, with the honey “dripping” off into the bee’s wing. For the label, started by hand-illustrating different flora and fauna of the Okanagan, to create a high-end look while still having local vibe.
