Following my birth date to the Dewey Decimal System, as the brief specifies, led me to the book ‘The Modern Introduction to Psychology’, published in 1948. This revival edition celebrates the variety of the book’s content by focusing on three very different chapters from the book: The Nervous System, The Sense of Sight and The Dream World.

Exterior Cover

This envelope in which the publication lies represents the human body holding the brain. From the outset the exterior is pristine and white, only by unfolding we reveal the chaos and what lies within. Much like our psychological state it must be opened up to reveal it's true nature. The envelope folding to contain the book perfectly also adds to the clinical and minimal feel of the publication.
