Designing for the Graduation Ceremony of IDI 2016 Competition / Graphic Design / Finalist
Panel of judges provided the following feedback on the work:
"A successful minimalist concept with some really strong elements and a cohesive central idea; excellent typography, finish and detailing. Would have been good to see the concept of ‘cross the finish line’ extended even further, it was felt that this had lots of potential for variation across the elements. Individual elements of the submission were strong and sophisticated throughout, but felt that there was perhaps a slight disconnect between them. Would have perhaps liked to see more cohesion between the individual elements of the pack, although the idea of contrasting textural and minimalist elements was appreciated. Strong Saul Bass influences seen, brilliantly executed on the cover but perhaps not fully carried through to the inner spreads."
