Vinh Ha Long - Ha Long Bay
A formation of some thousand monolithic islands in northeastern Vietnam’s sea. Stretching out over an area of around 1,500 km2, the dens limestone labyrinth is said to be once created by dragons to defend Vietnam from intruding ships. Today parts of the bay are designated UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site.
