Before you begin - graphical advice and wisdom

I participated and entered for the D&ad Adobe brief this year, whose brief stated - To share my personal advice / insights on wisdom and learning in the form of 3 illustrations .

My idea - When we are starting out in our respective fields or when we start out down our career path, a lot of us are very confused as to what we want to do. We get distracted easily and lose our focus and our path .

So, I prepared 3 simple illustrations to bring to light the truth of things as I see them . .

( like a warning note before you enter the lions den )

Self motivation - I believe motivation is something that can only come from within. It is a fight against our inner most wants and desires and doing the right thing to achieve your goals and aspirations .This particular illustration is about how hard and how important it is to push yourself against distractions.

Persistence - I wanted to illustrate the true meaning of 'practice makes perfect'. As to what it means to excel in your craft . It means to rise up from your failures and rejections and to keep learning from them. Quality can only be achieved by quantity and sometimes even that may not be enough .

One thing at a time - There is so much to do in the world, things too see, places to visit, skills to learn, finding new and amazing experiences and soo much more. But we try soo hard to do it all in one day and fail miserably at it. Hence, ‘Do one thing at a time’ . A key piece of wisdom I tell myself everyday to take life one day at a time .
