DUNA
back to the desert, back to my dream

Fall semester of this academic year I spent at Bezalel Academy of
Arts and Design Jerusalem. During this stay I visited desert for many
times and this experience influenced me a lot. I was absolutely
fascinated by the beauty of desert. The space, silence, change of lights
and shadows. It was just too beautiful to exist. Then I started to write
poetry and think.
And because my thoughts influenced by this amazing space really touched my
soul, I decided to reflect it in my final project.
I made three pairs of shoes, but it’s not functional shoe design.
It’s more an object which tells a story about my relationship to the desert.
