Artist books, generally handcrafted and published in limited editions,  are a genre of books that mediate artistic expression through the form of a book. They are, in a sense, pieces of art that are about the essence and experience of a concept as compared to the conventional representation of information that mainstream books contain.
Transit:
Transit is a book inspired by my collection of baggage tags from every flight that I have ever boarded. It’s a spiralling accordion that represents my stack of baggage tags, with an aerial view of a landscape on one side and stamped dates of the travel on the other.
REMOTELY RELATIVE:-
Stream of consciousness is a narrative technique that depicts the meandering of our mind from one thought to another. “Remotely relative” is a booklet that illustrates a train of unrelated thoughts that were triggered by a recurring dream that I used to get as a child.
Orchestrating time
Orchestrating time is an on-site silent zine that was created in the Cubbon Park metro station, Bangalore. It is based on the similarities between the perfectly timed sounds that one hears in the metro station and the practised addition of instruments in an orchestra leading up to a symphony. The idea was to represent the fading in and out of sounds/music only through scale, proportion and lines i.e. visualizing sound without the use of text.
Abandonment in Abundance:-
"Abandonment in Abundance" is a collaborative project which talks about the lack of solitude and the feeling of detachment that is part and parcel of the culture of excess in the lives of city dwellers. It portrays the dark and overwhelming feeling of loneliness that one feels despite the multitude of possessions.
