Hello everyone!,
My name is Janette. And I'm glad and thankful that you are interested and curious of the following logos that I create. Before we began, I want to explain a little bit of the background story of this logo from how it was created to the purpose of this logo. When I was Junior of high school in 2014 (4 years ago) I decide to get more involved in trance music that for me is just more then just a genre. I left painting to take music as my hobby but after learning first about the history of the beginning from 80's to 00's of techno, disco, clubs, DJs and producers history, I definitely fall in love with music and their background history and I decide to this as a long term in my life. In October 2014, I was trying to involve my country's culture (Mexico) and something that I like. So, the first ancestors that came in my head was Aztec, Olmeca, and Maya. And I pick Maya and I pick winter because the same day that i was creating this logo and name it was cold and raining of course it was autumn but I love the snow and in general winter season.
On this image, was the first idea I got since I was junior of high school so basically I have since 2014 to now 2017 trying to get ideas and not have just this simple letters...
In most of the images I add in the background some watercolors using some brushes from photoshop. I try to combine two things that I like that is the name of the logo and of course I love painting so I think is a good combination but not sure if the purpose of the logo combines with watercolors...
Then, in this image and the following image I add a Mayan pyramid and again the watercolors...
The maya symbol that is in the background it represents protection of danger and that all the wishes becomes true...
