The Creative Portfolio Project
On this Page you will find the work I have done for Creative Portfolio, which is a module on my University course of Game Art Design. I currently reside in my second year of this course and I am hoping to revisit these pieces and update them as my skills improve.
THE TEXTURE
This piece is of a hand painted stone floor texture I made to test my texturing ability and to see if I was capable of making a stunning tillable texture, I feel that has been achieved here and I have since learned how to use programs such as Substance Designer to help speed this process up. But I still feel the outcome of this piece is to a high standard without the help from Substance
THE LOGO'S
My next piece is a set of logo's I created the center piece was for my Photography friend and owner of MCharMedia (A Photography and Video Business based just outside Leeds) Miles Charlesworth. The logo originally was suppose to be for a set of stickers he asked me to design but loved the design that much he adopted it as his new logo. The other two logo's where created to help test my free hand logo creation and to see if I could create unique logo's with using just my tablet and Illustrator. All three of these logo's I'm extremely proud of to say the least. I am also open to create more of these in the future
THE ASSET
This piece I made was based of the fire pit in Kaer Morhen from the Witcher. I decided to do more of a stylized route with this asset though as I wanted to see what the outcome would look like. Utilizing 3DS Max and Adobe Photoshop I was able to create a piece that works not just well on it's own but also fits to scale of a scene aswell
THE ENVIRONMENT
This is my first try at doing a stylized environment, In this piece I experimented with Z-Brush to try and bring more depth to my work, I feel like I could have done better with this piece but I still wanted to show my attempt as this was also my first time properly using Z-Brush on a project.
