    The folk at BrandAid approached Watermark to update Emerson's range of beer labels. The client felt that the brand needed an evolution that could communicate Emerson’s as an iconic craft beer, maintain an element of class and pay homage to the brand’s journey so far. The brief was also clear that each brew needed to have its own character with a hint of humour for good measure. Watermark's senior illustrator Blair Sayer was the perfect choice to help develop the brand’s refreshed look and feel, using his modern etching style to answer the brief. Expanding on Blair's designs, Watermark's animation team worked closely with the client to breathe life into selected illustrations, which were to be displayed as gifs on Emerson's revamped website.
