Brand Identity + Platform Design & Development

On 2015 we designed the first iteration of the platform, which was at the time a much more simpler product.

We’re happy to work again with the Altavoz team helping them to neutralize the leap from Blog to Newspaper/Magazine.

The logotype for Altavoz is constructed by simple shapes. Since this is an almost digital brand, it made sense to us to not overcomplicate shapes, since this could be used through many different channels.

Moodboard & Influences

We’ve got influence from a lot of political sources. From Kurt Vonnegut & Aldous Huxley to John Carpenter’s “They Live” movie.

We’ve got hooked to the concept of They Live when we realized that Altavoz exists in order to inform and create a state of clarity.

The color scheme is based on Mexican shades of color. It's vibrancy will help our client to communicate with younger audiences.

The typographical choice for headings was a no-brainer, since the cleanliness and geometry of Futura match the tone of the brand. For running text we went with Freight Text Pro, a serif with a lot of character on its heavier variants.

User Interface + Development

Since Altavoz’s target audience are Millennials and Gen Zs, which are both digitally fluid, we could take some liberties knowing that this product is focused on people who use technology everyday.
