UDBHAV '17: INTO THE WILD

THEME
Udbhav is the annual cultural fest of M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore.
This fest is a melting pot for all of MSRIT's talent, hosting up to 54 events over the span of 3 momentous days filled with color, smiling faces and lots of exciting events. Transforming every year into various forms, Udbhav has also introduced inter-collegiate events, giving every student a chance to showcase themselves and compete with full fervor.
The theme for this year's fest was Udbhav '17 : Into the Wild.
ONLINE CONTESTS
This year's Udbhav had a number of online contests including the Limericks Challenge, the Doodle Challenge and the Boomerang Challenge to bring in crowd engagement before the fest began.
THEME DAYS
The fest also included theme days from 17th-19th March where the students gave up their usual college dressing style to blend in the beautiful colors and eccentric styles of the various themes.
ONLINE GOODWILL CAMPAIGN
Udbhav stands for culture, entertainment and creativity. In order to reach out to the society, this year, Udbhav '17 had a 5-goal online awareness campaign:
1. Save the Indian Elephant
2. Refuse the Straw Challenge
3. Think Green It's Friday (TGIF)
4. Water for Animals
5. Stop Hunger
SNAPCHAT GEO FILTER
Apart from the content shared on Facebook and Instagram, Udbhav '17 also featured 3 Snapchat Geo Filters(1 non-theme based and 2 theme based). The 2 theme based filters were exclusively available during the days of the fest i.e. 20th-22nd March '17.
